How do I submit CAT and IT assessments on the Optimi Learning Portal (OLP)?

All CAT and IT assessments can now be submitted online via the Optimi Learning Portal (OLP).

The new online submissions include the following components:
• CAT practical tests
• CAT examinations
• CAT PATs
• IT PATs

How to submit via OLP
  1. Once the learner has completed the assessment, all answer files must be saved in a single folder.
  2. Rename the folder using the assessment task number and the learner’s student number, e.g. Task2_123456.
  3. Compress this folder into a ZIP file using Windows' built-in compression tool (no third-party apps should be used).
Uploading onto OLP
  1. Go to the Assessments screen on the OLP and select the upload button for the specific task.
  2. A pop-up will appear with two upload fields:
    1. Barcoded Cover Page – Upload the learner’s barcoded cover page for that specific task in PDF.
    2. ZIP File – Upload the compressed folder containing the learner’s work. (Note: Only files in ZIP format will be accepted.)
  3. Click the blue Upload button to complete the submission. Your task will then automatically be submitted to the marking platform.
